Many scholarship program launched by government for the growth of scientist in India.Those candidates who have good academic record can apply for these scholarships program for their Ph.D studies.
The Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund offers scholarships for upto 2 years from January 2013 for Ph.D. studies in India.
Fields of study: Science & Technology, Religion & Culture, Sociology, Indian History, Economics, Environment and Nehru Studies
Eligibility:
1. Candidates must have
minimum 60% marks in Master's degree,
2. Age beiow 35 years,
3. Must be full-time Ph.D. scholar, registered in a recognized Indian University,
4. Must have valid GATE/NET score.
Monthly stipend: Rs.12,000/-, annual contingency upto Rs.15,000/-.
How to Apply -
Application form can be obtained from Jawaharlai Nehru Memorial Fund, Teen Murti House, New Delhi - 110011 on cash payment of Rs.100/-.
Or you can also download it from website,and the fee of Rs.100/-can be deposited at any branch of State Sank of India SB A/c.No. 30666380015 and deposit slip sent with the completed application form. Postal Order/DD also acceptable and be drawn in favour of "Jawaharlai Nehru Memorial Fund", payable at New Delhi,

Application forms should reach the Fund Office latest by 31st May, 2012.
