GEOLOGISTS' EXAMINATION, 2012
The Union Public Service commission will hold the Geologists' Examination 2012 commencing from 1st  December, 2012 for recruitment to  following posts Geologist in various departments of Government of India. The examination will be held at various centres across the country.
1. Geologist Group A : 300 posts in Geological Survey of India, Age : 21-32 years as on 01/08/2012
2. Assistant Geologist Grade-I Group B : 67 posts in Geological Survey of India, Age : 21-32 years as on 01/08/2012
3. Jr. Hydrogeologists (Scientist B) Group A : 03 posts in Central Ground Water Board, Age : 21-35 years as on 01/08/2012
 4. Assistant Hydrogeologists Group B : 12 posts in Central Ground Water Board, Age : 21-30 years as on 01/08/2012

2. HOW TO APPLY :

Candidates are required to apply  online only by using the website www.upsconline.nic.in Brief instructions for filling up the online Application Form have been given in Appendix-II. Detailed instructions are available on the above mentioned website.

3. LAST DATE OF SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS:
The Online Applications can be filled upto 15th October, 2012 till 11.59 PM,

Admit Card:  The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admission Certificate  two weeksbefore the commencement of the examination. The e-Admission Certificate will be made available in the UPSC website [www.upsc.gov.in] for downloading bycandidates.  No Admission Certificate will be sent by post. All the applicants arerequired to provide valid active E-Mail I.D. while filling up Online Application Form
