North Eastern Railway, Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, has invited applications from candidates for recruitment 2012, for Group D posts in the Divisions and Workshops of North Eastern Railway and RDSO / Lucknow.

The recruitment is to be done for the following positions:
Peon, Gateman, Line Clear Porter, Box Porter, Hamal, Safaiwala, W.R.B., Courier, Markaman, Trackman, Keyman, Trollyman, Ortizen Khalasi, Khalasi, Helper II Khalasi.Group D (Managing / Mechanical / Store / Optg / Electrical / Power), Running Room Bearer, Sr. Mali, Helper, Helper II, Office Helper, Watchman, Valveman, Worksmate, H.A., Mech. (Loco).

Candidates qualified in written examination will be called for physical efficiency test, documents verification and medical examination.

Eligibility:

Passed 10th Class or ITI Certificate in the relevant trades or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board / Institute. Candidates should be above the age of 18 years and below the age of 33 years (Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC candidates provided as per government norms).

Age : 18-33years as on 01/01/2012

Pay scale :  Rs.5200-20200 grade pay Rs.1800/-

How to Apply : Applications in the prescribed format complete in all respects along with required enclosures should be sent by post to the Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Raliway Recruitment Cell, North Eastern Railway Headquarters, CCM’s Annexe Building, Railway Road No. 14, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh – 273012, so as to reach on or before 10/09/2012 up to 18.00 hrs. For candidates residing in Far-Flung areas and North-East, the closing date for receipt of applications by post will be 24/09/2012 up to 17.30 hrs.
