The United Nations(UN) in collabration with the Ministry of External Affairs and Indian Council For Cultural Relations(ICCR) is conducting the Young Professional Programme(UN Civil Services) Examination 2012, a recruitment initiative that brings new talent to the United Nations through an annual Entrance Examination
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply to the young professionals programme (YPP) examination you have to meet the following criteria:
1.Be 32 years or younger (by the end of the exam year)
2.Hold at least a first-level university degree, such as a bachelor’s or other undergraduate degree, in one of the job families offered for that year.
3.Be fluent in
either English or French, the two working languages of the United Nations Secretariat (knowledge of other official United Nations languages is an asset).
4.Be a national of participating country. The list of participating countries is published annually and varies from year to year.
This year the examination is offered to candidates with academic background in:
1. Architecture
2. Economic Affairs
3. Information System and echnology
4. Political Affairs
Date of Examination: YPP Examination will be held on 5/12/2012 in New Delhi
