National Board of Higher Mathematics Department of Atomic Energy Scholarship for PG studies in mathematics National Board for Higher Mathematics is inviting applications for grant of scholarships to students for pursuing studies in MA/MSc degree programme
Eligibility:
1. Applicants must be BA/BSc first class or students who have appeared for BA/BSc final year examination or
2. B.Sc (Hon) degree with at least second class.
3. Students who have completed three years of an integrated MSc course with cumulative grades equivalent to first class.
4. Applicants should be below the age of 23 years as on January 1,2012
Scholarship:
Selected candidates will get scholarship of Rs
6000/- per month,during their two year for their M.A/M.Sc programme.To avail this scholarship students have to be enrolled in an appropriate institution, in India for their M.A/M.Sc degree in Mathematics.
Selection Procedure:
Selection will be through written test followed by interview of short-listed candidates. Questions in test will be asked from areas of Algebra,Analysis and Geometry.Duration of Test is 2 and half hrs and short answer type question will be asked.

How to Apply:
Applications on plain paper with recent passport size photograph to the appropriate person for the zone which candidates wishes to appear for the written Test.
