UP Tourism Guide Exam 2012.

As per the information from the department of tourism (Uttar Pradesh) the UP Tourism Guide Exam will be organised soon. The dates will be disclosed over the UP tourism website. 

As per Times of India the due to Maha Kumbh in U.P in Jan 2013 the State Govt. wants to complete the whole recruitment process by November this year. The written exam date is announced i.e 12/08/2012. The results will be declared within 5-6 days from the date of exam on (http://www.mkitm.com/state_level_guide.htm)

As per the sources, the entrance exam will be
tough this time. All three sections comprising, a) Knowledge of Monuments, b) History, c) GK, needs serious preparation. Candidate has to secure 40 percent marks in written exam to appear in interview. Candidates who will clear the the interview will be called for training at The Manyawar Kanshiram Institute of Tourism Management (MKITM), Lucknow for 9 weeks.

Interview Dates :
