Future Forests Fellowship

Future Forests Fellowship   
The University of British Columbia (UBC) fellowship pays $60,000 per annum for three years is for outstanding students wanting to undertake doctoral research in one of the following areas of excellence for the faculty:
1. Forest products biotechnology/bioenergy;
2.Business operations and management;
3.Forest genetics/forest genomics;
4. Below ground ecology;
5.river and landscape ecology;
6. Climate change and advanced landscape planning;
7. Forest management

Eligibility
1. You must be seeking
financial support for your first doctorate.
2. Intend to persue full-time doctoral studies starting May 2013, September 2013 or January 2014 at UBC’s faculty of forestry.
3. Have achieved a first-class average, in each of the past two years of full-time study or equivalent.
4. Not have received a scholarship or fellowship from the Canadian Government or the UBC to pursue a PhD.
5.  Not be a current faculty of forestry doctoral student
