Certificate, Diploma and PG Diploma levels are present. Where you can  enter after  12th. Students during the course get descriptive knowledge about  structure of the camera, lens, lighting, shooting, technology, shots of visual effects, computer software, motion graphics, etc.

Personal qualities
You should have ability of visual imagination which is important for this field. Cinematographer should always ready to work in any atmosphere for long hours. So it is important to be physically fit. Good vision is also very important.

Binod Pradhan, whose real name is Binod Kumar Pradhan, is one of the best known Bollywood cinematographers.he likes to watch mountains and beauty of nature, it means he has a ability of visual imagination which is important for becoming cinematographer. Story of binod Pradhan is like his father used to work in a photo studio and presented little Binod a camera with which he used to take snaps of blooming rose buds or the misty foggy mountain of Kanchenjunga. Binod Pradhan has done a course from the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India, Pune. Binod Pradhan has started his career with the well known music videos director Girish Mallik. He also did a number of commercials for television, the most known being the Coca Cola advertisement with actor Raima Sen. He also applaud for the film Rang de basanti
