Scholarship For Minority students


Students from Delhi studying in 1 to 10th grade can benefitted from the scholarship scheme.

Scholarships for minority students
For the development of backward classes of society it is important that they also get the chance of education. That is why, not only the state and central government but also by various educational institutions and trusts provide them financial assistance in the form of scholarships. In this context, Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India - launches a Pre-Matric Merit Scholarship.

Nature of Scholarship
This scholarship is for talented minority students of capital region,
including Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Zoroastrian and Buddhist. 30 percent of the scholarships are reserved for girl students and one family will get scholarships for only two students. The total number of scholarships is 92, 659.

Qualification
The scholarships are for those students studying in first grade to 10 th in the Delhi Government or recognized schools / institutes. For applying in scholarship students must have 50 percent marks in their last final exam. There family's annual income must not exceed 2 million.

How to apply
Application Form - can be downloaded from the respective websites. Necessary documents with the completed application in accordance with prescribed guidelines - letter should be send to the specified address.
